“Resurgam.” Phoenix Badge Tee

Description

RESURGAM. A PHOENIX. Two of the oldest symbols of coming back, on one shirt. The phoenix is the mythical bird that burns and is reborn from its own ashes. Resurgam is Latin for “I shall rise again”: first person, future tense, a statement of what happens next. The pairing is carved into the south front of St Paul’s Cathedral in London, where a phoenix rises from flames above the word. This badge-style design shows the phoenix lifting out of ash and ember with its wings spread against the dawn. It does not ask whether you will come back. It says you will. For anyone who has been through fire and come out the other side. Printed to order on a unisex Gildan 5000 heavy cotton tee.
